Reiki is a valuable tool for supporting dogs dealing with: - Anxiety or stress-related issues - Recovery from injury or surgery - Chronic conditions and discomfort - Adjustment to a new home or environment - Being overly energetic or needing senior support What to Expect During a Session Comfort First: Sessions are held in the familiar, comfortable surroundings of your home. Relaxation: Many dogs deeply relax or even fall asleep during the treatment. Gentle Approach: I use a calm, respectful approach with light touch or hands held near the body, focusing on areas needing support, guided by your dog's reactions. Optimal Environment: For the best results, it is helpful if the space is quiet, relaxed, and free from sudden distractions. Important Notes Safety: Reiki is a very gentle and safe therapy with no negative side effects. Dogs naturally regulate the energy they receive. Veterinary Care: Reiki complements veterinary treatment; it is not a replacement for it. Confidential Medical Forms: Prior to your appointment, I will send forms to you to enable me to gather background information. Please complete these to ensure maximum time is dedicated to your dog's treatment on the day. Mileage Information Included Travel: Travel is included for appointments within a 12-mile radius of ST7 2ZW. Mileage Charge: For locations outside this area, a charge of 45p per mile will apply for each mile exceeding the 12-mile radius (calculated for the journey both to and from the client's location).
