Service Description

I offer Reiki sessions to help dogs of all kinds find greater calm and balance. Whether your dog is anxious, recovering from an injury, dealing with a chronic condition, adjusting to a new home, overly energetic, or a senior needing extra support, Reiki can be a wonderful valuable tool. My sessions are designed to be comfortable for your dog, usually held in familiar surroundings of your home. Many dogs deeply relax and can fall asleep during a session. Once you have made a booking with me, I will send through some forms which need to be completed prior to the appointment date please, this provides background to your dog and the information I will require and allows the maximum amount of time to be utilised for providing Reiki to your lovely dog on the day. I'll ensure they feel safe and comfortable. Using a calm and respectful approach, I'll use light touch or hold my hands near them, focusing on areas needing support, guided by their reactions and my intuition. For your dog to fully receive the benefits of Reiki, it’s helpful if the space is quiet and relaxed away from noise and sudden distractions. Reiki is a very gentle and safe therapy for all dogs, complementing veterinary care without replacing it. It has no negative side effects, and dogs naturally regulate the energy they receive. Please note: Travel is included in the treatment price for appointments within a 12-mile radius of ST7 2ZW. For locations beyond this, a charge of 45p per mile will apply for each mile exceeding the 12-mile radius, calculated for the journey both to and from the client's location.
